A typical restaurant POS prints the bill. AtithiSetu runs the restaurant behind it.

Most restaurants start with a billing POS, then add a kitchen display, a stock tool, accounting software for the books and a payroll app — each with its own login, and someone re-typing numbers between them. Here is what changes when it is one system.

Which fits you

A typical standalone restaurant POS: You run one small outlet, your accountant is happy with exports, and you do not need kitchen screens or recipe costing — a billing-only POS may be all you need.

AtithiSetu: You run a busy kitchen, more than one outlet, or food alongside rooms, a spa or banquets — or you are tired of re-typing sales into the books every month.

Questions

Is AtithiSetu just a restaurant POS?

No. It is a restaurant POS and the rest of the back office in one system: kitchen display, QR ordering, recipe-level inventory, double-entry accounting with GST returns, payroll and multi-outlet reporting, on one login.

Can I switch from my current POS without losing my menu?

Yes. The onboarding team imports your menu, recipes and opening balances for you, so you do not rebuild anything by hand.

Do I still need separate accounting software?

Not for day-to-day books — every bill posts to the ledger and the GST working sheets come from the invoices. Your CA can work in the same books through a view-only login of their own.
